I believe fundraising, done well, is one of the most life-giving things a person can do. It is about inviting people into something bigger than themselves. My work is helping nonprofit leaders experience it that way.
I starter this journey as a social entrepreneur, co-founding a nonprofit to serve families affected by displacement. That season taught me what has guided my work ever since: that mission-drive organizations thrive when they invest in relationships, tell their story well, and build the systems to back it up.
Over the past two decades, I have held leadership and management roles across higher education, faith-based organizations and state and local nonprofits. Today I bring all of that experience to coaching, teaching, and capacity building through Yellow Collective, as a Capacity Building Coach with Resilia, and as a faculty member at Indiana University’s Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.
Outside of work, I am most myself traveling with my family, dancing in the kitchen with my husband, and savoring one-on-one with my kids.
